Background

I grew up in the deserts of South West Texas, in the small dusty town of Del Rio, on the Texas/Mexico border. Growing up in this part of Texas left quite an impression on my creative impulse. The images of the long hot endless landscapes will forever be imprinted in my memory and will always be an influence on my work as an artist and designer. My formal training is in architecture and design, but art has always been at the core of my many creative explorations. I was influenced by my grandmother, mother, and uncle to pursue studies in art, but my interests in spatial explorations led me to pursue a career in architecture. Today I strive to bring an artistic sensibility to architecture and an architectural sensibility to my artistic explorations.
